Dio5.com is the personal website of Dieter Orens, a simple human being currently living on this wonderful planet Earth.
Dieter was born in Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium. Since then he has been residing in quite some places like Turnhout and Lommel but currently he's living and breathing in Ghent. One day he hopes to leave the planet though. Or at least the country.
He works in arts center Vooruit as an occasional stage technician and besides that he is a self-employed web developer. Among his skills are (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Silverstripe CMS. Take a look at some of his work.
Since May 2007 he has also a growing interest in photography. What he likes most is hiking into stunning landscapes and put them on digital film. If you want to look at his work, check his custom Flickr-playground or his regular stream.
He plays the guitar now and then and together with some friends he likes jamming beyond the sky. His musical preferences go to seventies bands like King Crimson, Frank Zappa, old work from Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Funkadelic but also more recent influences like Sonic Youth, Mogwai, Red Sparowes, Sigur Ros and others.
