As a freelance webdesigner/developer I create websites, be it for myself or for you. I offer modern, custom-built websites that run on a powerful CMS and that will be loved by search engines.

Prices for a website will vary depending on the amount of customization required starting from only 649€ (21% VAT excluded) for a simple, validating website with as many basic pages as you like, content management system included!

All sites will be built according to W3C-standards. For larger projects or companies I can also work as a freelancer on a price per hour base.

Depending on complexity, building time will vary from one week up to several weeks. If desired, I can arrange decent hosting packages for you as well at a small extra cost.

Season Magazine

Client: GPMD

Designed by Allies Design, mainly developed by me (html, css, silverstripe php programming) for GPMD, the website is the online home for Season Magazine, the best of East Anglia's local food and good living.
Uses a custom blog/article module I wrote, which has comment subscription, notification, categories, etc...

Pure Events

Client: GPMD

Another project for GPMD, designed by Exciting Minds. Built mainly by me on a fairly short time using the Silverstripe CMS and trying to use graceful degradation where possible. Uses the Mootools javascript library, huge background images and a lot of png's! Don't use a dial-up modem for this one :)

Boardroom Review

Client: GPMD

Designed and developed for GPMD with the Silverstripe CMS. The client wanted a very simple looking site with little color and no photography and choose this one out of a few other designs we proposed.

Emerging South

Client: John Baeyens

In his own words: " The purpose of Emerging South is to create a global network of entrepreneurs of various industries, active in Southern Emerging countries. Currently the focus of the network is to gather Brazilian and South African entrepreneurs or investors active in either of both countries." Probably the one of the first corporate blogs running on Silverstripe, so quite an experiment. It supports multiple authors and posts per country.

Photoplaces

Client: Dieter Orens

Admit it, Belgium is not the best country to live in if you want spectacular landscapes or interesting scenes. With that in mind and my growing passion for photography I created the website 'Photoplaces.be', where everyone can join and add the most beautiful locations of our country on a map. The site will be a continuous work in progress as I still have tons of ideas on how to improve and extend it.

FlickrMania

Bored with Flickr's standard paging, I decided to use their API to build my own little image browsing thingy. It fetches all my images from flickr, gives exif-information, total comments, ... Faster and easier than Flickr.

Some parts were never finished or updated, because once he was back home he didn't feel much like being remembered all time of the wonderful things he went through.
